James Ahlschwede
MPAS™, CFP®, CRPC®

James is the Founder and CEO of Round Table Investment Strategies. He has always had a passion for helping others and the inner workings of personal finance. These passions led him to start his own wealth management firm in 2006. James earned his MPAS (a master’s degree in personal financial planning) and holds his CFP® (Certified Financial Planner™ certification) from The College of Financial Planning. He also holds his CRPC®  (Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor) certification from The College of Financial Planning. He has a B.S. from Nebraska Wesleyan. James’s core values are faith, family, and fun. James is married to his wife Mandy, and they have two daughters, Michaela and Moriah. He is an avid college football fan, loves fishing and the great outdoors.

Nathan Dutzmann
MBA

In his role as Chief Investment Officer for Round Table Investment Strategies, Nathan is responsible for applying financial science and investment research to the process of constructing portfolios tailored to our clients’ individual needs and goals. Nathan was previously an Investment Strategist with Dimensional Fund Advisors and a Partner and Chief Investment Officer with Aspen Partners. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a master’s degree in International Political Economy and a bachelor’s degree in Mathematical and Computer Sciences from the Colorado School of Mines. He shares the core values of faith and family with James. He is married to his amazing wife Katie, and they have three children, Lydia, Theo, and Anna. His outside interests range from the geysers of Yellowstone to the Denver Broncos to reading books of all kinds.

Mandy Ahlschwede

In her role as a Retirement Coach for Round Table Investment Strategies, Mandy facilitates retirement coaching sessions to help clients design or redefine their ideal retirement experience. The goal of these sessions is to enable clients to embark on or continue their retirement journey with a solid plan. These non-financial sessions are fun and geared toward discovering greater fulfillment, identity, and purpose in retirement. Mandy was formerly a managing partner for a healthcare leadership recruitment firm, The Healthcare Initiative. She previously ran her own career coaching business. She is a certified coach with the John Maxwell Team and earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from ORU. She is married to James and enjoys family adventures with their two daughters. She loves the mountains, and she’s a musician and a coffee connoisseur.
